Hey y’all! I just had one of those days that started off rough but turned into something really beautiful, and I wanted to take a moment to share it with you all.
So, let me start from the beginning. I was filming a video featuring a seafood dish – y’all know I love my seafood! I spent nearly 50 minutes putting my heart into that video, getting everything just right. But when I went to check the footage… silence. No sound. Not a single word or crunch captured. I was crushed, y’all. I cried – real tears. It was such a letdown after working so hard, and in that moment, I just felt completely defeated.
But right when I thought my day was ruined, my amazing family came through like they always do. My husband and my sweet son surprised me with the most thoughtful celebration – a cake to mark reaching 1 million followers! Can you believe it? ONE MILLION! That instantly lifted my spirits. I felt so seen and loved.
To top it off, my son Darius took me out to see Wicked. Y’all… that movie was everything. Magical, emotional, and beyond anything I expected. I would honestly give it 10 out of 10 stars – it was just that good! After the movie, we enjoyed a lovely dinner together and ended the evening feeling happy, grateful, and full.

But wait – that wasn’t all! The very next day, my husband surprised me again with a spontaneous overnight getaway. He had kept everything a secret, and when he told me to pack a bag, I was so excited! Before we hit the road, I shared a quick video about a few health supplements I’ve been taking. There’s this one bitter herbal drink I’ve been using – let me tell you, it tastes awful, but the benefits are so worth it! It’s great for my skin, hair, nails, and even my digestion. Beauty from the inside out, right?
We drove there in the Ferrari – and that ride alone made me feel like a queen! We arrived at a stunning hotel, and the room was so cozy and elegant. It felt like a perfect little escape from the world. We had a dinner reservation at the hotel restaurant for 6 PM, so I got ready and put on a new wig I got from TikTok Shop – y’all, it was only $31-32, but it looked like I’d just walked out of a professional salon! I was feeling myself!
Dinner that night was beyond delicious. The vegetable sides were the real stars for me – fresh, flavorful carrots, cabbage, potatoes, and cauliflower that melted in my mouth. My husband ordered a juicy steak, which he loved. And y’all… the cheesecake for dessert? HEAVENLY. It was so good, we ordered a second slice to take back to our room.
All in all, what started as a disappointing moment turned into a day full of love, surprises, and joy. I’m so thankful for my family and for all of you who continue to support me.
