Tips for a Clean Mouth and Fresh Breath
Hey y’all! Today, I want to talk about something super important that I think a lot of people overlook – how to properly take care of your mouth and teeth. Especially for me, doing mukbangs and sitting close to people, keeping my breath fresh is a must!
My Complete Oral Care Routine
Every time I finish a big seafood boil, I have to go through my full mouth-cleaning routine. Here’s what I do, baby:
Step 1: Floss – This step is SO important! You gotta floss, or use a water flosser – whichever works for you.
Step 2: Tongue scraping – A lot of people skip this step, but I’m telling y’all, this is the MOST important one! I’ll explain why in a bit.
Step 3: Oil pulling – Swish oil around in your mouth to help get rid of bacteria.
Step 4: Brushing – Of course, that’s the basic one!
Let me tell you something – if you don’t follow all four of these steps, you’re not really taking care of your mouth! I’m serious, baby!

Why Brushing Before Bed Is So Important
Let me share a little story. Your mouth should be so clean at night that when you wake up in the morning, your breath still smells fresh! But that only happens if you brush your teeth really well before going to bed.
Now I’m gonna be honest with y’all – don’t judge me! Sometimes I’ve forgotten to brush at night. Yes, I have! And baby, when I woke up the next morning... whew!
It’s not that my breath smelled terrible, but I could feel the difference on my tongue. I promise you can feel it too – your mouth just doesn’t feel as clean.
The Secret to a Healthy Tongue
You can actually tell when your breath isn’t fresh. I don’t know about everybody else, but I can tell when mine isn’t. It’s a weird feeling – like your tongue has a different texture or taste. Not metallic, but definitely not pleasant.
When you scrape your tongue, it should look healthy pink. That’s what a clean tongue looks like.
Now listen, I’m not a dentist, okay? But if any dentists are watching this, please correct me if I’m wrong! They say a healthy tongue should look nice and pink like that.
Tongue Scraping – The Most Important Step!
I’m telling y’all right now – SCRAPE SCRAPE SCRAPE THAT TONGUE!
That’s the key, baby!
If you skip this step, you’re missing out on removing a LOT of the bacteria that causes bad breath. There’s so much gunk sitting on your tongue that you can actually scrape off!
Okay, let me stop before I turn into a full-time dentist here! I haven’t been to dental school, but trust me, I’ve done my research on how to keep your breath smelling right.
The Painful Experience of Sitting Next to Someone with Bad Breath
Especially when you’re doing mukbangs with somebody sitting right next to you, baby!
That’s the worst! Being close to someone with bad breath is rough. You’re sitting there, holding your breath, and they just keep talking...
And it’s always the ones with the worst breath who wanna have the longest conversations! Like we’re writing a whole dissertation together!
You be sitting there like, “Baby... you too close, honey! You want a mint?”
And they’ll say, “No!”
You offer gum – “No!”
You offer a mint – “No, I don’t need that!”
They don’t want anything!
Meanwhile, you’re just sitting there thinking, “Girl... bro... you gotta back up!”
How to Gently Tell a Friend Their Breath Stinks
Listen, sometimes you just gotta be real. Is it rude to tell somebody their breath stinks? I don’t think so – especially if that person is your friend!
Look, I’m not gonna let my friend go out like that. No friend left behind! I’m that friend, baby!
We’re not going out smelling crazy! If your friend is sensitive, here’s how you can handle it:
“Come on, girl! Let’s go real quick and brush our teeth. You know they gonna be talking to us up close!”
That’s how you do it – smooth and kind!
Wisdom in Communication
Sometimes, you gotta use wisdom. Wisdom will take you a long way in life.
Be wise in how you talk to people. Be wise in how you say things.
So y’all, don’t skip your oral care routine, okay? Remember: Floss, scrape your tongue, oil pull, and brush your teeth. Those four steps will keep your mouth clean and your breath fresh every single day!
Love y’all! Always keep God first in everything you do.
Be Love, Be Love, Be Love! ❤️
