Hi friends! Today, I’m excited to share something deeply personal and truly inspiring—my husband’s 60-day juice fast journey. What started as a small spark of motivation in me turned into a life-changing decision for both of us. After watching Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead by Joe Cross, I felt compelled to make a change—and convinced my husband to join me on this reset. What happened next exceeded anything we imagined.
My husband didn’t begin this journey to shed pounds. His goal was spiritual: to realign his body and mind with God's purpose. But as a beautiful bonus, he lost 41 pounds—proof of the body following where the spirit leads.

He started at 236 pounds, then officially began the fast at 229.2. Sixty days later, he weighed in at 188 pounds. His next milestone? A lean, energized 170–175 pounds, followed by gaining 5–10 pounds of muscle to stabilize around a strong 180. But numbers barely tell the story.
The real transformation happened inside. After a tough first week, something shifted—his energy surged. He now runs 3 miles daily and works with a personal trainer three times a week. At 40+, he clocked his fastest mile at 9 minutes 24 seconds. That’s more than just fitness; that’s renewal.
Nutrition-wise, he began with pure juice from fresh fruits and vegetables. As his workouts intensified, we introduced liquid plant-based proteins. We also watched The Game Changers, which opened our eyes to the power of plant-based nutrition—especially when building strength.
Today, he’s a new man. He sleeps more soundly, thinks more clearly, and bounces back from workouts faster than ever. This isn't a diet—it’s a lifestyle. A plant-based, faith-aligned, vibrant way of living that fuels not only the body but the soul.
If you’re feeling inspired to try something similar, we encourage you to listen to your body and consult with a doctor first. This was our path—and we’re grateful every day for where it’s led us.
