Hey y’all… before I get into today’s post, I just want to take a moment to honor someone truly special. Many of you already know that Lips has passed away, and it still doesn’t feel real. His energy, his humor, his creativity—they brought so much joy to the mukbang community. He had a beautiful spirit that touched so many of us. Today, I’m sharing this challenge in his memory, and I hope it encourages you to celebrate him the same way: through love, laughter, and food.

Now, let me tell y’all about my fiery and flavorful adventure with Lips’ spicy nachos challenge—something he created that brought people together and sparked a whole lot of fun in the kitchen!

The challenge was simple but full of room for creativity: you had to use 10 ingredients, with up to 2 meats. I went with ground chicken and ground beef for that juicy, hearty combo. Then I loaded up my nachos with crisp bell peppers, sweet onions, and a mix of Flaming Hot and Cool Ranch Doritos to give it a crunchy, bold base.

Now y’all know me—I wasn’t about to go small. I built a plate big enough to feed 5 to 6 people, stacked high with goodness. And to really bring the heat, I added a touch of Danger hot sauce. I thought it might be too intense, but to my surprise, it was packed with flavor, not just fire.

And honey, when I added pickled jalapeños, spices, and seasonings—it was over! I didn’t expect to love it this much, especially with all that heat, but every bite was delicious and so satisfying.

If you’re thinking about trying it, I say go for it! It’s not just about food—it’s about honoring someone who made us all smile. So whip up your own version, use the hashtag #LLIPS, and let’s keep his legacy alive in the most delicious way possible.

And like always, keep God first in everything you do. That’s something Lips believed in too.

Love y’all so much. Rest in peace, Lips—you are missed, but never forgotten. 💔
