Transforming My New Home A Journey of Creativity, Patience, and Vision

Hey friends! I’m beyond excited to finally give you a peek into the transformation of my new home—and let me just say, it’s been a beautiful work in progress. With the incredible help of my interior designer, Nadia, this space is slowly but surely becoming everything I imagined and more.

Let’s start downstairs. Nadia worked her magic by thoughtfully arranging my bookshelves, adding just the right mix of books and décor. A vase of fresh flowers now breathes life into the space, and on the couch, she layered a soft, textured throw and topped it off with the most elegant horse figurine that adds character and charm.

The dining area underwent a bold makeover—painted in a rich, midnight blue that completely elevates the room. We finally hung the Disney painting I’ve dreamed about for years, and beside it, a stunning art piece made from broken glass shards that tells its own unique story. We’re still waiting on the rug and curtains to complete the look, but it's already coming together beautifully.

Upstairs, things are shaping up too. Nadia hung a gallery wall of meaningful photos and added playful pops of color through orange and turquoise cushions. More furniture is on its way, and I can already feel the space becoming warmer and more personal with every new detail.

Of course, not everything has been picture-perfect. We’ve run into a few bumps—some deliveries were delayed, and at one point, legal help was needed to straighten things out. Thankfully, those issues are now behind us.

As of now, we’re about 80% done. Still to come: chandeliers, mirrors, and a few final furniture pieces that’ll really pull the whole vision together. I can’t tell you how rewarding it’s been to see this home take shape—from an empty house to a reflection of who I am.

Thanks so much for sticking with me on this journey. I’ll be sharing more updates soon, and I hope they’ll inspire you to create a space that feels just as special for you, too.
