Today, I want to take you on a journey through the past 90 days of my life, during which I committed to a 60-day juice-only fast.
Many of you have asked about my weight and whether I’ll put it back on. Honestly, I’m not too concerned about that, because weight loss wasn’t my main goal. I didn’t start this fast with the thought, “I’ll drink juice for 60 days and lose a ton of weight.” My main focus was on improving my overall health, and the results have been beyond anything I expected.
Today, I’m excited to share the test results that show the transformation I’ve gone through during these past 90 days. When I started juicing, I had my numbers tested, and now, nearly three months later, the changes are astounding.
Let’s talk about weight first. You can clearly see the difference—I’m now comfortably wearing Darius’s size S shirt, and it fits perfectly! I went from an XL to an S.
Before the fast, my total cholesterol was 223 (high), HDL (the good cholesterol) was 40 (normal), and LDL (the bad cholesterol) was 167 (way higher than the normal range of 0-99). Despite all my efforts to exercise and stay healthy, I struggled to control my LDL.
My liver function markers were also concerning. My AST level was 44 (above the normal range of 0-40), and my ALT was 55 (also above the normal range of 0-44). On top of that, my blood pressure was consistently high, with the lower number ranging from 89-91, and the upper number between 120-140.
But after 90 days, the results have been incredible. My blood pressure readings have been so much healthier: 100/64, 102/68, and 94/58. The nurse had to double-check because she couldn’t believe how low and perfect my blood pressure was—she said it was like that of a teenager! My total cholesterol dropped to 140 (now within the healthy range), HDL increased to 51, and LDL decreased to 71. My AST level fell to 18, and ALT dropped to 16, all within the normal range.
It’s not just me. I’ve shared this juice method with my mom, sister, and niece, and they’ve started their own journeys. I won’t lie, fasting for 60 days is not easy—it takes real motivation and something bigger than just the desire to lose weight. My mom has already shed 15 pounds in just 8 days, and my sister, who has struggled with blood sugar issues, adjusted her juice recipe and has now seen her blood sugar drop by half.
As for maintaining weight, it’s been about 30 days since I finished my fast, and I’ve gained back around 6-7 pounds, which is to be expected since my intestines are no longer empty. But now, I’m losing weight again, and my waist keeps shrinking. I plan to lose another 10 pounds to reach 180 pounds, and I’m excited to continue this progress.

But beyond the numbers, the most amazing change has been in my energy. Before, I would often feel sluggish and crave naps after meals. Now, I feel completely energized. I work out five times a week, and I still feel amazing. Honestly, I feel like I’m 25 again! This newfound energy has positively impacted every aspect of my life—from my goals and ambitions to my dreams for the future.
The biggest change of all? My eating habits. I’m now fully plant-based—lentils, potatoes, broccoli, zucchini. I don’t miss meat at all. The way I feel on this plant-based diet is so much more important than any food I used to eat. I truly enjoy how my body feels now, and that’s worth more than anything.
