Nikocado Avocado Tries Soul Food for the First Time – An Unforgettable Experience in Las Vegas!

Hey everyone! Today, I’ve got a very special video that I’ve been waiting to share for a long time! Can you guess who’s sitting right next to me? It’s none other than Nikocado Avocado — the one I always talk about on my channel! I can’t believe we finally got the chance to collab!

Nikocado – The Sweetest Guy in Person

Let me tell y’all, Nick is honestly one of the kindest and most cheerful people I’ve ever met! When I first saw him, he was like a burst of sunshine — full of energy and laughter. He’s funny, warm, and just a “breath of fresh air” (though he joked that his breath wasn’t too “fresh” in this video!).

A lot of people ask me about Nick, and I always have nothing but good things to say. Some folks even come to my channel like, “What did BLovesLife say about Nikocado today?” and I’m like, “What’s going on?” (laughs). But seriously, I’ve always supported Nick wholeheartedly!

Talking About Nick’s Weight Journey

Nick shared something with me that I think y’all should know — he’s incredibly honest about his journey. He joked about gaining a little “water weight” and wondered if I’d still recognize him when we met this time. Of course, I did!

He’s got such a sense of humor about himself: “Sometimes I look in the mirror and don’t even know who I am anymore!” he said. Nick admits that everything’s gotten bigger — from his belly to his double chin, which he says “literally chokes me in my sleep.” He even uses a CPAP machine at night and says it “saved his life.”

What I love most is how real he is about his struggles:

  • His shoe size went up because even his toes gained weight.

  • He gets short of breath doing simple chores.

  • Tying his shoes is tough because of his belly.

  • His back hurts when cleaning up.

But through it all, Nick stays positive and self-aware!

Nick’s First-Ever Soul Food Experience

Now this is the highlight — Nick had never tried soul food before! I was so excited to introduce him to it. We went to Lolo’s Chicken and Waffles in Las Vegas and ordered a huge spread!

Here’s what Nick tried:

  1. Catfish (Fried Catfish) – This was Nick’s first time ever trying catfish! He said he hadn’t even eaten seafood until a few years ago. And guess what? He loved it! “It tastes like chicken! Fresh, salty, and seasoned!” Nick was all in on this one.

  2. Fried Green Tomatoes – Nick said, “This is how I eat my vegetables!” He enjoyed it because it was fried and flavorful.

  3. Collard Greens – At first, Nick tried to avoid the greens, but eventually, he gave in — and loved them! I was so proud! He even told me he sometimes steams collard greens back home in Florida and eats them plain, no salt, no butter, no oil — just natural flavor! He said they “keep me alive” since he eats so much sodium from his daily videos.

  4. Sweet Potatoes – This one touched his heart! Nick said, “This reminds me of Christmas!” It gave him such warm, comforting vibes.

  5. Chicken and Waffles – Nick learned how to eat this classic combo for the first time! I showed him how the sweet and savory balance works, even though he admitted he’s not a fan of sweet foods.

  6. Cornbread – The only thing Nick didn’t like (laughs). He said it was too dry, and that’s why he doesn’t like biscuits either. “I like everything moist and dripping!” he said. But once he dipped it in the pot liquor, he thought it was better!

Fun Facts About Nikocado

His Eating Habits:

  • Nick doesn’t eat breakfast. His first meal is usually around 5 PM.

  • He’s addicted to filming — he can record mukbangs at 10 AM or 10 PM!

  • His comfort food is cheesy ramen — his all-time favorite.

  • Lately, he’s obsessed with fried chicken from Church’s, Jollibee, and Popeyes.

  • He loves chicken thighs the most — “the fattier, the better!”

His Food Preferences:

  • Nick hates sweets! No donuts, cakes, cookies, or ice cream.

  • Why? He says sweets make him feel “awful.” One time he ate cheesecake and felt sick for an entire day!

  • He can’t stand cold fries but loves them fresh and hot.

  • He refuses to eat alligator or balut — “No way!” he said.

His Health Routine:
Nick actually takes care of himself in his own way:

  • He uses krill oil instead of sardines (sardines dry his eyes).

  • Takes black seed oil, vitamin B12, and multivitamins.

  • Prefers sublingual vitamin drops for faster absorption.

  • Eats collard greens regularly to balance out the sodium.

The Heart Attack Grill Challenge

Nick told me about the time he ate at Heart Attack Grill — he devoured 7 out of 8 gigantic burgers, totaling 20,000 calories! I was in shock! He said he’s trying to hit 350 pounds to eat for free there, but right now he’s plateaued at 330. “I’m already this big — who cares!” he laughed.

The Adorable Side of Nick

Nick is naturally hilarious! He even joked about creating a new channel called “Nick Hates Life” just to complain about life and people (laughs).

He’s also super down-to-earth about fashion — he shops everywhere, from designer brands to Fashion Nova to… Walmart! “Walmart, Walmart, Walmart!” he shouted, and I couldn’t stop laughing. I even told him not to go shopping in my closet!

What’s Next

Next time, we’re planning to film an African food mukbang! We were supposed to do it this time, but the restaurant was closed. Nick said he’s “mentally preparing” himself to try new things with me. I can’t wait for that video!

Final Thoughts

I had such a wonderful time with Nikocado Avocado! He’s genuine, funny, and so lovable. I hope this video helps everyone see the real Nick — not just what you see on camera.

His first soul food experience was a success! He enjoyed almost everything (sorry, cornbread!) — and the catfish was definitely the star of the show.

Thank you, Nick, for coming to my channel! And y’all, make sure to check out his channels — yes, he’s got four of them!
