My 12-Day Juice Fasting Journey – The Truth Nobody Talks About
Hey y’all! Today, I want to share my juice fasting journey with you. This is Day 12 for me, and I feel like I have to tell y’all what’s really happening – the good and the bad – because too many people only talk about the positives and skip the “ugly” side of this process.

Why I Decided to Juice Fast
After five years of doing mukbangs – since January 3rd – I’ve been eating constantly on camera. And even though my health has been great (my recent bloodwork came back perfect — no more iron or potassium deficiency!), I felt like my body needed a full reset. I wanted to give my digestive system a break and transition into a more plant-based, pescetarian lifestyle — still enjoying seafood but focusing mainly on plants.
I’m not doing this alone. My husband and I are on this journey together, and let me tell y’all — having a partner makes a world of difference, because this is not easy at all.
Aside from health reasons, I also wanted to get closer to my faith. I truly believe fasting brings you deeper into your spiritual connection. And at almost 47 years old, I want to live the rest of my years as healthy as possible.

The First Three Days – Pure Hell on Earth
I will never forget the first three days. If someone tells you juice fasting is easy, they’re lying — or they’re just lucky. The first three days are the hardest. If you can’t push past those, I’m gonna keep it real — you probably won’t make it.
Day one, I was so irritable I didn’t want to talk to anybody. I was starving like crazy. My body craved everything — and I mean EVERYTHING. You look at anything and want to eat it. At one point, I literally thought, “If I could melt this fork, I’d eat it.” That’s how intense it was.
That hunger lasted for three full days. And that’s why most people quit. But once you make it past day three, you’ve got a real shot. Around day four or five, my hunger started to fade. Every time I drank juice, I felt energized. Now, I drink juice every two hours and can watch people eat right in front of me without craving a thing.

The Things No One Tells You – But I Will
This is the part people don’t talk about. When you look online, everything looks shiny and amazing. But nobody talks about the “ugly” side.
Diarrhea – Don’t Say I Didn’t Warn You
I don’t care if it’s TMI, this is real talk: you will have diarrhea, and it’s off the chain. Your body is flushing out toxins, parasites, and old waste that’s been sitting in you for years. You’ll be going to the bathroom at least 12 times a day — I’m not exaggerating.
And there’s a saying in the juice fasting community: “Never trust a fart.” And it’s true. The smell? Whew! Like something crawled in and died. I’m serious, it’s bad.
It can last 2–3 weeks, but that’s actually a good sign — it means detox is happening. After five years of mukbangs, I’ve got a lot to release, so this process is hitting me hard.
Real talk: once, I went to the bathroom and it literally smelled like fried chicken from Popeyes. I’m not joking. That happened right after my first colonic hydrotherapy session. Another time, my poop burned so bad it felt spicy — even though I hadn’t eaten anything spicy. That’s old, leftover food leaving your body.
Inside our colon, there’s a lot of plaque, mucus, and old waste stuck to the walls — and all of that is coming out.

Mood Swings
The first few days, my mood was all over the place. I was cranky, irritated, didn’t want to talk. But by day five or six, things started balancing out.
The Yellow Tongue
My tongue developed a yellow coating — that’s a detox sign. I’ve been brushing my teeth at least four times a day because a film forms on your tongue and teeth. I also scrape my tongue and dry brush my skin before showering to help my body detox through the skin.
The Beautiful Part – The Miracles
Despite all the chaos, there are incredible benefits happening too.
Sleep Like Heaven
My sleep has been unbelievable. Because I’m not digesting heavy food, my energy goes straight into rest. I sleep just a few hours but feel like I’ve slept eight. It’s deep, healing sleep — something I never had before.
Energy Boost
It sounds crazy since I’m not eating solid food, but my energy is through the roof. Every time I drink juice, I feel charged up. It’s an amazing feeling.

Interesting Comparison
My husband (on day 11) is having a totally different experience. No diarrhea, no major mood swings — I think that’s because he doesn’t have as many toxins to release as I do. Meanwhile, I’m going through a full-blown detox crisis.
As for weight — I weigh around 130–132 lbs, so I haven’t lost much. But my husband has dropped 12–13 lbs in 11 days. The body knows what it needs. People who need to lose weight can drop over a pound a day doing this.

My Daily Routine
Each day, I drink about 90 ounces (2.7 liters) of fresh juice using my Breville juicer — made fresh daily. I drink every two hours, listening to my body. When I’m hungry, I juice.
I also drink:
-
64 ounces of alkaline water daily – because our bodies naturally have a pH of 7, and staying alkaline helps prevent diseases like diabetes and high blood pressure.
-
Coconut water
-
MCT oil three times a day
-
Hemp oil once a day
-
Probiotics (just started yesterday to firm things up)
-
Liquid vitamin D3
One important thing: never run out of juice. Always prep ahead so you don’t set yourself up for failure.

Serious Warning
Before you start juice fasting, go see your doctor. I’m not kidding. My husband and I did full bloodwork and checkups before we began. If you have any health issues, you need medical supervision.
I don’t recommend fasting for too long. Some people go 100 days or more, but that’s too extreme. Always consult your doctor.
Many people have actually gotten off medications — blood pressure meds, diabetes meds, and more — thanks to juice fasting. It’s even helped people with Crohn’s disease, skin conditions, depression, and mental health issues. I’ll link the documentary “Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead” — it’s truly inspiring and started a worldwide movement.

What I’m Hoping For
Juice fasting resets your taste buds. It’s great for your skin — mine has always been decent, just the occasional breakout, but I expect it to glow even more. It also strengthens hair and nails. I’ve been taking progress photos since day one.
I recently trimmed my hair and I’m waiting for it to grow back thicker. My hair’s naturally long, but I want more fullness. I still love my wigs and extensions, though — that won’t change!

About Colonics
I did my first colonic hydrotherapy and whew, y’all... I’ll make a separate video about it because there’s so much people don’t tell you. Online, it looks glamorous — but the reality? It ain’t pretty. Trust me.
My Plan Moving Forward
I’ll continue fasting until I feel my body has fully detoxed. I’m not setting an exact number of days — I’ll just listen to my body. Once I’m done, I’ll slowly reintroduce plant-based foods.
And don’t worry — I am coming back to mukbang! You’ll just see healthier, less processed choices. For now, expect more vlogs. I’ll be posting three times a week — Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday.
I know more videos mean more money, but my health comes first.

Final Thoughts
If you’re thinking about juice fasting, I say DO IT. You won’t regret it. You’ll love yourself even more once you finish. But be prepared — it’s hard, especially in the beginning.
Having a partner helps so much. I’m so grateful my husband’s doing this with me.
And remember — I’m sharing everything, the good, the bad, and the ugly, because I want you to know the truth. Juice fasting isn’t all glam and glow. There are some tough, messy moments. But the results? Totally worth it.
I’ve been journaling every single day — every feeling, every change, every experience — and I’ll keep sharing this journey with y’all.
Thanks for sticking with me through this 22-minute talk (I meant for it to be 8–10 minutes, but y’all know I can talk!). I love you guys, and if you’re here for me — thank you. If not, well... bye! Ain’t nothing I can do about that.
Peace out. Peace and love! 💚
