We kicked off the trip bright and early at 5 AM, filled with anticipation. Our home for the week was the Hilton Rose Hall Hotel, and let me tell you, we didn’t just stay—we stayed in style. We were given the Royal King Suite, the largest room in the hotel. This place had three balconies, each one offering a different slice of paradise—from sparkling ocean views to serene mountainscapes. It was like waking up inside a postcard.
Now, I’ll be honest—the suite could use a bit of a refresh. The decor felt a little dated. But what it lacked in modern flair, it made up for in space, cleanliness, and comfort. It became our hangout spot, perfect for impromptu get-togethers with friends, laughter echoing through the room, and toasts to love and life.
The vibe of the trip was pure joy. One of the most unforgettable nights was at the hotel’s club. Picture this: the dance floor lit up, music pumping, and us out there cutting up with Soul Train line dances. My husband? He was on fire—busting out the goofiest, most hilarious moves that had the whole room cracking up. He really brought the energy!
But the heart of the trip was Tea and Wayne’s anniversary celebration. The ceremony took place in a stunning, elevated location that—while beautiful—posed a bit of a challenge for the bride’s mother due to the steep incline. Still, that didn’t stop the emotion from flowing. As we gathered around, we shared stories, flipped through old photos, and honored a couple whose love has truly stood the test of time. It was intimate, emotional, and simply beautiful.
On our final morning, we shared one last breakfast together, taking in the peaceful vibes of Jamaica before flying home. Montego Bay gave us more than just a vacation—it gave us moments we’ll cherish forever.
