Fresh Ingredients:

  • 4–6 sticks unsalted butter (about 500–750g)

  • 4–5 garlic cloves

  • 1/4 sweet onion

  • 1 teaspoon minced ginger – optional

  • 1 tablespoon Tabasco (or any hot sauce)

  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Optional Add-Ins:

  • Red pepper flakes

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Dry Seasoning Mix

  1. Combine all dry seasonings in a large bowl.

  2. Mix well and set aside.

Step 2: Prep the Fresh Ingredients

  1. Peel and mince the garlic.

  2. Chop the onion into small pieces.

  3. Blend garlic and onion together briefly (don’t over-blend; keep it slightly coarse).

Step 3: Cook the Sauce

  1. Heat a pot over medium to low heat.

  2. Add 4 sticks of butter and let it melt.

  3. Once melted, add the blended garlic and onion.

  4. Add minced ginger (if using) – be careful not to add too much.

  5. Stir in 1 tablespoon Tabasco sauce.

  6. Add 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce.

  7. Pour in the dry seasoning mix.

  8. Stir well to combine.

  9. Let the sauce simmer gently.

  10. Add 2 more sticks of butter if you prefer a richer, saucier consistency.

Step 4: Adjust the Flavor

  • Taste and adjust seasonings as needed.

  • Add more butter if the sauce is too thick.

  • Add more cayenne for extra heat.

  • Add more brown sugar for sweetness.

How to Use

  • Dip your cooked seafood directly into the sauce.

  • Or toss the seafood in the sauce inside a large bowl or bag.

  • The butter will coat the seafood, leaving a rich, flavorful seasoning on every bite.

Notes

  • This recipe makes a generous amount of sauce (perfect for 2 people sharing a big seafood feast).

  • You can halve the ingredients for a smaller batch.

  • Always taste as you go and adjust to your liking.

  • Go easy on the ginger—it has a strong flavor.

  • This sauce is meant for dipping, not eating by itself.

  • Every seasoning can be adjusted to your personal preference.
