My sister was diagnosed with breast cancer in December of last year, y'all. I know a lot of y'all didn't know that. And I'm telling you, somebody was shocked - I was so shocked, me and her both, like just shocked.
It all started in October when she told me, "Sis, I found a lump on my breast." And I was like, "Okay." She thought it was just another cyst or something like that, you know, because on another part of her breast, she had found one before and it was just a cyst. So I said, "Okay, you probably going to need to go check that out," and she said, "Yeah, I'mma go check it out."
So, needless to say, she went to go check it out. I think her doctor was very dismissive about it, like, "Oh, it's probably nothing. It's probably just a little cyst or something." I don't know if she told her that over the phone or something. Whatever she did, she told her something, and she didn't check it out like she was supposed to.
My sister ended up going back to the doctor again because I think she felt that the lump grew a little bit. When she did, they checked it and then they gave her the news in December, telling her that she had breast cancer. Breast cancer, y'all!
You talking about somebody devastated? I was mad. I was just like, "What? Are you kidding me?" We were wondering how in the world did that happen. How did she get that? All of that, y'all. We were going down the line because we've been talking about prevention and everything.
So yeah, we was upset. Anyways, my sister went through it. That's when we were talking about this stuff with prevention. I gave her sour soap. I gave her books on herbs. I gave her sour bitters also. Black seed bitters, all of that. She was taking that. She was taking apricot seeds. Yeah, y'all, she was doing all of that.
But anyways, guess what y'all? My sister is cancer free! Did you hear me? Cancer free! She did go to surgery in February or March - March I think - when she went through surgery. They took it out and everything. So everything is good.
It's so much information in between that. But I just thought I would share that with y'all because that stuff is like... you literally... my sister was with me last year bringing in the new year, and she was supposed to bring in this year too, but she couldn't because she had cancer that quick. She had a good bill of health and then things changed.
And let me tell y'all what happened. She first started getting stomach aches. Like she literally started getting GERD. She started having problems with her stomach, y'all. And then all of a sudden, from her stomach issues, that's when that breast cancer thing went.
And let me just say that while I'm saying that, Nate's aunt did the same thing. She had - unfortunately, she's not with us anymore - but she did the same thing. She had problems with her stomach at first. It was called GERD. She was having really bad problems and then all of a sudden she had cancer. Does it start in the stomach first or something? She had cancer and then she passed away really quickly.

Anyways, I just thought I would mention that. Life will switch up on you so bad. Yes, it will. Yes, it will. That's why I said you got to be very grateful for what you have in this life.
My sister is doing so good, y'all. I'm so happy. She has to get her breast reconstruction done in May, which is this month. Actually, this month she's getting that done. I'm so happy for her because even though they're going to cut them off, she's going to get new ones. And so that's exciting for her.
Let me tell you something. This is why it was such a shock. My sister eats healthy. Okay? She is not like me. She will eat her food. Now, she will eat her little indulgent foods sometimes. Me and her, even though we're small in frame - we're both like that, we're both small in frame - but my sister takes care of herself. She goes to the gym four or five times a week. She's in that gym! She also makes better choices about her food, what she puts in her body. Sometimes she does have an indulgent moment, but most of the time she eats healthy.
So that's why it was so hard. Like, what? Girl, you eat healthy, you work out, you do this... It just don't matter. It do not matter.
I'm just happy that she is cancer free. I'm not going to share all the details with y'all. You talking about somebody with weight lifted off of her, off the family. Y'all, I cannot lose another sibling, okay? I just can't, because it was devastating to lose my sister before. I can't go through that again.
So, thank God. I've been taking preventative measures myself because you know they say the city you live in has pollution in the air you can breathe in and that can give you different cancers and stuff like that.
I started looking up information and I gave y'all a list before about the states with the most pollution in the air that could cause cancer. I think Iowa was number one or two on the list. And Ohio is like number seven or eight or something like that. They're in the top 10 because we are in farm land, and you breathe in all of that stuff.
So, what I do is take preventative measures. I do black seed bitters, I do sour bitters. I take a shot every day, y'all. A shot every day. And I know a lot of people say I take a lot of stuff, but baby, when I tell you that stuff really works... I eat a lot of foods that might be considered not good for the body, but that sour and black seed bitters and the apricot seeds, they really clean me out. When I tell you it's so good for the gut - it helps me get cleansed out. It detoxes me and everything.
I really do not have any problems, and I think a lot of it is because, first of all, it's God. But a lot of it is because I do take preventative measures. All my vital signs have been good. That stuff really works for my body.
