Tae’s Side of the Story:
Y’all, I have to tell you this story – how I really thought my ex drove four hours just to “kill” me.
First off, let me be clear – this wasn’t someone you’ve ever seen me publicly date. This was a secret relationship because... she was a married woman.
I know some of y’all are gonna think I’m terrible, but we live and we learn. So here’s how it went down: I started dating this married woman thinking she was separated – at least that’s what I believed. Looking back, that wasn’t really the case.
The first time we met was at a hotel, and when I walked into the room, she had a gun laid out right on the counter. That was a wild first impression. I was scared and kind of uncomfortable, but honestly? I liked the feeling of being protected – even though she was way shorter than me.
Of course, the relationship didn’t last – I mean, hello, she had a whole husband! I didn’t see any signs of a divorce actually happening. Yep, I was being dumb. I was lonely, she was attentive, and I ended up being the side dude to a 44-year-old married woman.
Eventually, things ended, and I completely detached emotionally. I even started a dating show live on TikTok – kind of like a low-budget “Flavor of Love.” The show ran for about a month and we picked a winner.
By this time, I hadn’t talked to her in like 2 or 3 weeks. No contact at all – like it was really done.
Then came the night of the finale. I was in my living room, all dressed up because the show had been a success. We had just announced the winner when BAM, loud knocking on the door.
It was all on livestream, so people were actually watching it happen!
I thought it was the cops or something, so I muted the stream and ran to the door. Nobody was there. I turned around, and the banging started again. That’s when I started to wonder... “No way – it can’t be her.” She lived in Virginia – I’m in Delaware. That’s like a four-hour drive!
We hadn’t spoken in weeks, and most importantly – she’s married! She can’t just pop up. I mean, all those lonely nights when we were seeing each other, she never showed up. But now that it’s over, now she wants to appear?
I ended the stream because I knew something was about to go down, but I didn’t know what she was about to do. She’s the type to “shoot first, ask questions later.”
I opened the door and there she was – standing against the wall, out of view. As soon as I opened it, she pushed past me and barged in!
Honestly, at first I thought maybe she was trying to “make peace” – like maybe she came to stop me from being with the winner of the show, or maybe she wanted us to get back together.
But that thought vanished real quick when she stormed in and immediately unplugged my Ring camera. Who does that? That’s my only camera in the house – just to see who’s coming in.
Now I’m thinking she didn’t want to be recorded, or maybe didn’t want her husband knowing she was here. Then she started trying to... do something. She’s 4'9", I’m like 5'3" or 5'4", so we got a height difference, but she’s a big, strong woman.
I was still kinda scared because I kept thinking she had a gun and was ready to “take me out.”
I saw something bulging in her back pocket and I really thought I was about to die – all this happened within five minutes!
Turns out, it wasn’t a gun – it was her phone, and someone was calling her. I still don’t know what was going through her mind when she pulled up like that.
I don’t know if she came to confront me, try to reconcile, or set me up – and honestly, I believe that third one the most. She had a lot of insecurity about the girl who won the dating show – and rightfully so. I was moving on.
I think her plan was to try to trap me – because even though I had checked out emotionally, maybe she could catch me slipping physically, and then tell the girl I was about to date that I messed around with her.
But no. I didn’t want her anymore. I was done. She was married and I was tired of being the side piece. I don’t have the energy to be the side character – I’m the main character!
When I saw the phone, I got so mad. Not only did she break into my house, interrupt my successful livestream, but she played with my head for nearly a year – making me think she was divorcing her husband, when she was still going on trips with him. I saw it on Instagram – she was cozy with him the whole time.
She kept disrupting my peace and my ability to move forward. So I told her straight up – she had to leave.
When I saw the call coming through on her phone, I thought, “Are y’all trying to record me or something?” She drove four hours, left her two grown kids and her husband behind – she’s a kept woman, doesn’t even have a job. I don’t even know what lie she told to be able to come here.

I tried to get her out of the house. And when she unplugged my Ring camera, I knew she was on some shady stuff – like, why else unplug it unless you don’t want evidence of a fight?
Before she finally left in her big SUV, she knocked over all my Starbucks cups – my precious collection! That really hurt and pissed me off.
All of that happened in just five minutes. Then she sat in the car outside for a while – maybe thinking I’d feel sorry for her after she drove four hours in the middle of the night and would let her back in.
But no way. Even if there was hope left, the way she came at me that night? That door was permanently shut.
I’ve never talked to her again, unless she’s the one texting me from a random number – I can’t be sure. One of my exes is definitely texting from a hidden number.
So yeah, that’s the story of how I thought my ex was gonna kill me – but I think she really came to trap me. I don’t think her plan worked, but you gotta understand – I hadn’t even met the girl I was supposed to date yet, and I knew how this ex thinks.
Honestly, my whole life might’ve been different if she came with a different vibe – maybe she could’ve reeled me back in. Thank God she didn’t, even if things still went sideways afterward.
Y’all, don’t date married people – they’ll have you out here looking crazy. I didn’t mean to be a homewrecker – I didn’t know it was that deep. The story I was told, and what I found out... I still can’t believe it happened to me. I can’t believe I was really the “other man.”
