Hey y’all, let me clear something up real quick. I’ve seen some comments saying that I’m bragging—but honestly, that’s not my intention at all. I’m just sharing my life, sharing my experiences—that’s what I do as a YouTuber.
Everybody on social media does it. They share their lives, what’s going on, where they’re going, what they’re doing. You see people’s houses, their cars, everything. So when I tell y’all how much I paid for something, that’s just the truth—that’s the actual amount I paid. Like these lobster tails right here—I bought two orders, $37.99 each for 5 oz tails. And look at how small they are! That’s why I had to suck that meat right out.

Some people think I’m complaining about prices even though I’ve got money. But listen, no matter how much money I have, I’m still trying to keep my money, okay? I’m trying to stay a millionaire, y’all! Everybody knows prices are going up, inflation is real—money just doesn’t stretch the way it used to.
Yes, I’m still blessed to make good money, but I want to be able to say: okay, I’m doing well financially, but I’m still smart with my spending. I can shop, I can travel, I can enjoy myself—but that doesn’t mean I’m bragging. That’s just real life.
I know some of y’all work 9 to 5 jobs every day, and you also want to enjoy nice things with your family, right? I don’t have to brag. I know I’m blessed, and I thank God for it, but I’ve worked hard to get here—from where I started to where I am now.
People might see me just sitting and eating, but what they don’t see is all the work behind it. If it were as easy as just eating, everybody would be doing it! It’s a great job—you’re your own boss, you don’t have to answer to anyone, and hey, everybody eats every day.
But it’s not as easy as people think. I still run a business—even though my husband manages most of it, I’m still working, and I’m active on multiple platforms: Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube. That’s four platforms I post on, y’all. And yes, I get paid on all of them, but it still takes effort—editing, creating content ideas, buying equipment, staying consistent—it’s real work.
Anybody who does social media or YouTube knows this: we work hard. I don’t care what people say—“Oh, all you do is eat.” Okay, but there’s a lot that goes into it. And if it’s that easy, then you go ahead and do it and make the same kind of money.
Let me just say this—it’s worth it. That’s all I’m saying. But that doesn’t mean I can’t talk about high prices. I love a good sale, I love finding deals, I love Prime Day. I still shop at thrift stores if I find something I like. My friends still thrift and bargain hunt, and I love that too.
I still go to Walmart, Target—all those places. I’ll never see myself as “too good” for any of that, never. That’s how I grew up. I’m not that kind of person. I’ll buy from Walmart, Target, and I’ll also buy from Macy’s or anywhere else.
This is just my life, y’all. This is how I live. And that’s why I say everyone on YouTube shares their life and what they’re doing.
I’m sorry if anyone feels offended or thinks I’m showing off—but hey, that’s what people do on social media. On Instagram, YouTube, TikTok—everybody’s sharing their lives. You see their houses, their cars, everything.
I’m just sharing my life with y’all, like I’d share it with my close friends. Y’all are my friends, my family, my supporters—you mean everything to me. And all I’m doing is spreading a little love.
So yeah, this is my life—my life, my life, my life—and I’m sharing it with you. And y’all just gonna have to get used to that. If you don’t like it, you can exit left, exit right, or go watch somebody else who you think isn’t “bragging.” That’s all I can say.
