Hey fam, it’s Blove, and today I want to get vulnerable with y’all. I wasn’t sure if I should even share this, but I know somebody out there needs to hear it. So here it is—this is what my belly looks like after I eat. No filters, no angles, just real life.

Every time I eat—even if it’s not a heavy meal—my stomach gets incredibly bloated. And I’m not talking about a little puff. I mean painful, tight, like-it’s-about-to-burst bloated. I honestly don’t know exactly what’s going on inside, but this has been happening more and more, and I figured it’s time to put it out there.
Look at it… doesn’t it look like I’m 4 or 5 months pregnant? I know it sounds wild, and honestly, in videos it may even appear bigger than it is in real life. But the thing is—it’s hard. Not soft and squishy like a food baby. This is that firm, stretched-out, tight kind of bloated. You can really see it from the side—especially in the lower belly area. It’s not my whole stomach, just that one section that swells up like a balloon.
What’s even more frustrating is that in the mornings, it goes down. Not all the way, but enough for me to feel a little better. And I’ll think, Okay, maybe today’s the day it won’t get bad again. But as soon as I eat something—even something light—it puffs right back up. Just like that. And then I’m walking around all day feeling stuffed, uncomfortable, and honestly a little self-conscious.
Eventually, after I go to the bathroom, rest a little, drink some water, and... well, release everything, it goes down. But it’s this cycle. Over and over. And it wears you out.
The reason I’m recording this and sharing it with y’all now is because I’ve been told this kind of bloating could take up to two full months to calm down, especially if your gut is trying to reset itself. That could be from food sensitivities, hormones, or just stress messing with your system. But two months?! That’s a long time to feel like this.
What makes this even harder is how invisible it can be. People see you from the outside and assume everything’s fine. But you’re carrying this discomfort all day. It affects how you move, how you dress, and sometimes even how you feel about yourself. But I want y’all to know this:
You are not alone if you’re dealing with stuff like this.
So many women go through bloating, inflammation, digestive problems, and we just push through it silently. But sometimes we need to stop and listen to our bodies. Pay attention to what they’re trying to tell us.
👉 I’m sharing this not for sympathy—but to be real. Maybe someone else out there is dealing with the same thing and feels like they’re the only one. You’re not. We’re in this together.
👇 Drop a comment and let me know if you’ve ever struggled with this kind of intense bloating. What helped you? What made it worse? Have you found any foods or routines that made a difference? I’d truly love to hear your thoughts, because this ain’t just about me—it’s about all of us learning from each other.
Thanks for letting me share this part of my journey. ❤️
