Hey my loves! 💋 It’s your girl BLovesLife, and today we are stepping straight into the kitchen to make something y’all have been begging me to share for YEARS—my famous, iconic, smack-you-in-the-soul seafood sauce! Yes baby, THAT sauce. The one you see me dipping those big juicy crab legs into…the one that makes every mukbang explode with flavor. 💡 Before We Begin…

If you’ve already ordered my Smackalicious Seasoning Mix, congratulations—you’re halfway there! That’s the heart and soul of the flavor. But let me be clear:
This recipe is YOUR playground.
You can make it spicier, sweeter, sugar-free, vegan—whatever fits your taste and lifestyle.

I’m making a big batch today because this sauce lasts beautifully in the fridge for 1–2 weeks. And trust me, once you make it, you’ll want it on everything—seafood, ramen, rice, potatoes, noodles… it’s endless!

🧄 Ingredients You’ll Need

Feel free to adjust these—this is a flexible, forgiving recipe.

  • 1 stick unsalted butter (add more if you want it richer!)

  • 1 pack minced garlic (optional but highly recommended—garlic is life!)

  • 1 jar Pik Sushi (optional – adds depth and umami)

  • Onions – as many as you want (I use 3–4, but some people go all the way to 8!)

  • 1 tbsp nori flakes

  • Chicken powder

  • 1 cup water or chicken broth

  • 2 tbsp brown sugar (white sugar or no sugar are fine too)

  • 1 cup Coca-Cola (optional—but yes, Coke adds that perfect sweetness!)

  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar (plain vinegar works too)

  • Juice of 1 lemon

  • “Two Times Spicy” hot sauce (optional—adjust heat to your level)

  • Smackalicious Seasoning Mix (the heart of the whole recipe!)

  • Roasted red bell peppers, sliced (adds color, texture & a little sweetness)

👩🏽‍🍳 How to Bring It All Together

  1. Melt the butter in a deep pan over medium heat.

  2. Add your minced garlic and chopped onions, sauté until they smell absolutely heavenly.

  3. Sprinkle in your Smackalicious Mix and let those spices bloom in the butter.

  4. Add your chicken powder, nori, and all your liquids—water/broth, lemon juice, vinegar, Coke, and any hot sauce you want.

  5. Stir in the brown sugar to balance the flavors.

  6. Add your roasted red peppers and any extra toppings you love.

  7. Let everything simmer 10–15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce turns thick, glossy, and full of rich aroma.

Baby, when it’s done?
You will KNOW.
Your whole kitchen is gonna smell like flavor heaven!

⚠️ A Friendly PSA from Your Girl

Somebody always says it:
“That’s a lot of sodium!”

But be real with me—when you go to a seafood restaurant, do you think they’re back there measuring teaspoons of salt? No ma’am. They’re piling on butter, seasoning, and everything flavorful because that’s what makes it GOOD.

This sauce is meant to be rich, bold, and indulgent.
If you want a lighter version, just dilute it with more water or broth. Easy peasy.
