Y’all, let me tell you something about tattoos and life philosophy that’s been on my heart lately.
About Tattoos and a New Decision
I’ve been thinking about getting a tattoo, y’all. My favorite chapter in the Bible, hands down – Psalms 91. I know it by heart, and I’m thinking about having it right here on my body. What y’all think about tattoos?
Now listen, I got this ghetto tattoo when I was a baby – I think I was 13. Baby, it’s ghetto, I ain’t even gonna lie. I could get it covered up, but I’m scared because I don’t want the pain, baby. I don’t like pain. So honestly, I don’t even care what people think about it.
But you know what? Life is lifeing, honey. We all make dumb mistakes. And who cares? I know y’all made some silly choices in your life too. Maybe you’re like, “Not that dumb, girl” – but hey, it is what it is.

Freedom from People-Pleasing
Ain’t no shame in my game. You know how I got free a long time ago? From being a people pleaser and always feeling embarrassed. I promise you, when I say this, I mean it – I found real deliverance. Deliverance from caring about what people think of me, from being afraid to make mistakes, from being ashamed.
Now I can make mistakes. I can say the wrong words. I don’t get embarrassed anymore. I was delivered from that. Because at the end of the day, this life is all about the heart. It’s about who you are as a person.
The Importance of the Heart
All that other stuff – like if you don’t know big fancy words, or you’re not the most articulate, or maybe you don’t look the best, or you don’t have the perfect smile or teeth – baby, don’t worry about that.
What really matters is your heart. If you got a good heart, if you mean well and treat people right, that’s all that counts. You don’t need to be embarrassed, honey.
Dealing with Criticism
People will always talk. People will judge. People will hate. People will be jealous. They’ll find something in you they don’t like, but really it’s because they don’t like it in themselves.
Sometimes it’s because they want to be you, or they admire your boldness but can’t show it themselves. I take that into consideration too, especially when I read comments. I know when it’s hate. I know when it’s jealousy. I know when it’s just somebody hurting.
And sometimes I know I might need to correct myself, because maybe I did hurt someone’s feelings. In those cases, I’ll say, “You know what, I apologize if it came across that way.” Because their feelings matter too.
Achievements and Milestones
Y’all, do you know I’m almost at 1 billion views since I started this? Actually, with TikTok, Facebook, and IG added up, I know I’ve passed 1 billion already. That’s just wild.
And I know that in 10 more years, I’ll probably be well over 2.5 billion views. That’s crazy work right there. I’ve been doing this for a long time.
Final Philosophy
Sometimes people will be like, “Girl, how you gonna call me out and say I look like this or that?” Then you look at their profile picture and it doesn’t even make sense. But baby, that’s just how it goes. Some folks are just sick or broken and don’t even realize they need help. You just gotta go with the flow, honey.
At the end of the day, this whole journey has taught me that authenticity always wins over perfection. When you stop trying to please everybody and start being real about who you are – mistakes, ghetto tattoos, loud mouth and all – that’s when people truly connect with you.
That’s when life gets real good, honey. That’s when you start living instead of just existing.
