We treated ourselves to a fancy dinner from Outback: a rare filet mignon (my first time trying it), a medium well steak the way we usually like it, a baked potato, and the star of the meal – seafood macaroni with shrimp and lobster, plus some asparagus on the side.
Funny enough, when we cut into the “rare” steak, it turned out not to be so rare after all – still pink inside, but almost medium well. Even so, we gave it a try and it was actually pretty tasty!

About Our Relationship
I have to admit, a year ago I never imagined myself being in a relationship like this. I used to say there was no way I could ever date a woman, but life really has a way of surprising you, doesn’t it?
What I love most about her is how affectionate and willing to learn she is. I’ve never experienced that before. When we have disagreements, she doesn’t get stubborn – instead, she wants to talk things through and understand each other so we don’t repeat the same issues. It’s healthy, and so different from anything I’ve ever known.
The Worries I Had at First
In the beginning, I was nervous. I worried that dating a “straight” woman would get complicated, because I love deeply and I’m not at the age where I just want something casual. But as we got to know each other better, that fear slowly faded away.
Now, my biggest worry is the distance between us. I’m scared that one day she might wake up and no longer want to be with me, or lose her excitement about us.
Being Authentic
I showed her the real me very early on – from my nerdy side to my sensitive side and everything in between. I don’t have the time or energy for games anymore; I need her to see exactly who I am.
And she did the same – she let me see her true self right from the start.
Funny Moments
We actually have completely opposite food preferences. I love the things she doesn’t, and she always seems to like my food more than hers. Totally unfair!
And here’s something pretty unique about her – she loves natural scents, even breath. I know that might sound strange, but it’s true!
First Impressions
When I first saw her profile picture, I thought she was going to be arrogant, maybe even too good for me. But once I got to know her, I realized we’re unbelievably similar – we’re both goofy on the exact same level! We play around all day and can barely stay serious.
What I Want Most
Finally, when asked what I want from her, my answer is simple: everything. I want everything she has to give. She makes me happy all the time. Even when we’re not talking, the moment we reconnect, she always tries to make things right. She makes me feel safe and comfortable – and that means the world to me.
