Hey my sweet loves,
Lately, I’ve had to take a step back and really reflect on my relationship with food. I’m a true foodie at heart—I live for flavors, textures, and those unforgettable bites that make you close your eyes in pure happiness. But when I recently looked in the mirror and saw how my body has been changing, I knew it was time to have a real, honest conversation—not just with myself, but with all of you.

The truth is, controlling my eating habits has become more challenging as I’ve gotten older. Sitting here with this Culver’s triple Swiss cheeseburger (and yes, it’s every bit as delicious as it sounds), I found myself asking: How do I truly balance enjoying the foods I love while still taking care of the body God gave me?
Now, let’s be real. I’m not here to hide behind the camera or pretend I’m something I’m not. I’ve put on weight—big back, fuller curves, all of it—and I’m owning it. Because at the end of the day, weight is just one part of who we are. I’m still laughing, still singing, still loving on my family and friends, and still savoring life one bite at a time.
I’ve learned something powerful through this process: our bodies are meant to evolve. Every stage tells a different story, and that’s not something to fear—it’s something to embrace. Whether I’m wearing a size small or carrying a little extra “love” on me, my heart remains the same. My kindness, my joy, my faith—those are untouched by a number on the scale.
I also know that these changes are not a sign of weakness—they’re a reminder that I’m living, growing, and experiencing life. Yes, the camera might make me look a bit bigger (you know those lenses add a few pounds), but in real life? I’m healthy, I’m happy, and I’m deeply grateful for the blessings I have.
That’s why I’m sharing this moment—not just as a “weight journey” update, but as a reminder that self-worth runs deeper than body size. It’s about the laughter we share, the prayers we whisper, the meals we enjoy, and the love we give.
So if the number on the scale climbs? So be it. As long as I’m caring for my health, my spirit, and my relationships, I’m exactly where I need to be.
Now, don’t get it twisted—I still have my eye on those size S outfits in my closet, because this girl is not ready to replace her entire wardrobe just yet. But I’m also learning that beauty, confidence, and joy can exist at any size.
Tell me, loves—have you noticed changes in your own body? How are you embracing them? Let’s talk about it, because your story matters too.
And above all, remember: Put God first in everything you do.
