Hey y’all!
I’m so excited to bring y’all along with me today because I’m vlogging straight from Chicago! This city always has a special place in my heart, and I’ve actually stayed here before during one of my fun little weekend getaways. This time, I’m back again, and I couldn’t wait to take y’all with me for the ride!
Let’s kick things off with a quick little tour of my room at the Aloft Hotel. Now listen—if you’ve been following me for a while, you probably recognize this spot because I’ve stayed here a bunch of times. The room is cozy and simple, just how I like it. There’s a bathroom and shower, of course, and a little workstation with a TV—perfect for editing or just relaxing at the end of the day.
The hotel is located right near the airport in the Rosemont area, which makes it super convenient, especially if you’re flying in and out like I am. I’ll be here for three days, y’all! I’m in town for a party/gathering, and you know I’m gonna try my best to capture all the good vibes for you—the fun, the energy, the music, and yes... the dance floor!

After settling in, I made my way over to the Fashion Mall because I had one thing on my mind: a fresh pair of Air Force Ones You already know how I am about my sneakers—I cannot stand it when they get even a little dirty. My husband always laughs at me and says I go through three pairs a year... and he’s not wrong! 😂 I like my kicks crispy white, period!
At first, I wasn’t even gonna step into the Nike Factory Store because, baby, it was packed! Looked like they had just dropped a new pair of Jordans or something because the line was long. But then I noticed it was moving pretty quickly, so I figured, why not? I hopped in line, and thank the Lord, one of the staff members helped me find exactly what I was looking for. I even grabbed a cute new shirt while I was at it!
Overall, y’all... we had a blast out here! The energy, the shopping, the vibes—it was everything. I can’t wait to show y’all more of this weekend in the next vlog. Stay tuned because it only gets better from here!
