Touring My Son’s Gorgeous New Home!

Introduction

You’re gonna see a little more on my channel than on Alvin’s because his house tour was filmed when the place was still empty — the first week he moved in — and he hasn’t edited or uploaded it yet. But in my tour, the house is fully furnished, so y’all are getting the complete version! I’m not great with the little details, but I’ll take you room by room!

The Studio – Where the Magic Happens

This is Alvin’s studio! This is where all the business happens, honey. It’s such a nice setup! He’s got that green screen going, just like me. He said he got inspired by me and his dad — but then he goes, “I do it better than both of y’all!” Ha! I love that green wall though; it looks so clean on camera. He painted his, while I use fabric, but hey — both work perfectly fine!

The Office – Where the Money Comes In

Now this right here is the money room! This is Alvin’s office where, as he says, “the bills get paid.” If this room didn’t exist, ain’t no bills getting paid! This is his 9-to-5, and he’s doing a fantastic job.

Fully Loaded Bathrooms

Every bathroom in this house is a full bathroom — no half baths here, y’all! Alvin pays attention to every little thing: soap, mints, sanitizer, tissue… everything! Shoutout to Nicole for the amazing decor! Look at that little “wash, brush, floss, flush” sign — so cute! Even the silver tissue holder and matching trash can — adorable!

Dining Room – Waiting on the Table

The dining room doesn’t have a table yet, but I love the window setup. The whole house is mostly white and gray, with Alvin thinking about maybe adding some bronze tones. I gotta say, it’s beautiful. He said he loves the neighborhood, just not where it is in the city. He’s been thinking about maybe moving to Vegas, but for now, he’s looking around Texas first.

The Mirror & Storage Area

This mirror was hung up professionally, honey — “Mirror, mirror on the wall!” There’s a cute little storage nook here for extra Walmart bags, toilet paper, and all that good stuff. Y’all know how people love to stock up on toilet paper!

Laundry Room – A First for Him!

This is the very first washer and dryer Alvin has ever owned — I’m so proud! He keeps all his detergents here; y’all can see exactly what brands he uses. Nicole does a lot of laundry, let me tell you! He’s also got his tool area here — yep, he’s officially a handyman now! But don’t call him to fix your stuff — because the first person he calls when something breaks is his dad!

Garage – The Wheel Collection

Now, in the garage, Alvin’s got his 20-inch rims for his Impala. I’m so glad he took them out of my house because I wasn’t letting him store them there! He also has 37-inch tires and 22-inch rims for his Jeep.

Kitchen – The Heart of the Home

This kitchen, y’all, is where it’s at! The fridge was the very first one Alvin and Nicole bought together — it’s going wherever they go next. The kitchen came with appliances, but the washer, dryer, and fridge they bought themselves.

The fridge is so organized! They love staying hydrated — you’ll find Gatorade, Hi-C, orange juice, and all kinds of drinks in there. The freezer’s stocked with pizza rolls, hot pockets, mini pizzas — quick snacks — and half of it is just desserts! The pantry’s filling up too, because as Alvin says, “you never know when the world’s gonna go crazy.”

And that toaster? Been in the family forever! The handle’s broken, but it still works perfectly fine.

Pool Area – A Gorgeous Living Room View

This is where, as Alvin says, “the magic happens!” — where he and Nicole have those deep-night pool talks under the stars… just kidding! But seriously, this is the biggest pool in the neighborhood!

I love the high ceilings and recessed lights. Those arched windows bring in so much natural light. He’s planning to add a grill out here — well, not right there between the brick walls, but nearby.

There’s a real fireplace and a TV above it. If I filmed this at night, you’d see the purple and green LED lights glowing beautifully. The couch is huge and cozy with those cute throw blankets.

Master Bedroom – Still in Progress

The master bedroom isn’t done yet. Alvin’s focusing on finishing the living areas first because family’s coming to visit. He and Nicole have actually been sleeping in the living room for two years! Right now, it’s just the mattress, but trust me, it’s gonna be gorgeous when it’s finished. The bed’s already ordered.

The bathroom’s got double sinks — one for Nicole (loaded with makeup) and one for Alvin. And those mints in there? Probably for fresh breath before bed!

The closet is deep! Nicole’s got tons of clothes — just like me! Alvin’s trying to organize his stuff too. Nicole wants to color-coordinate his clothes, but he says he can’t find anything that way, so he’s taking over. She’s still organizing her bags and shoes, though. That walk-in shower is beautiful — I love that style!

Upstairs – Guest Rooms

Texas homes don’t really have basements, so everything’s on the main level and the first floor. There’s a guest room up here that’s empty for now, with a medium closet. Nicole keeps her fashion rack here for her work.

The guest bathroom has a natural, hippie vibe with earthy tones — super cute! But that towel hook? It should be lower. Alvin’s very particular about things like that!

Walter’s Room

This is Walter’s room with a king-size bed and a 55-inch TV. Alvin puts a fan in every room because when he travels, he always needs a fan to sleep — so he makes sure guests have one too. The room’s got LED lights behind the TV, which can swivel all the way around. The closet’s bigger, with built-in shelves, and Walter’s got stickers on the wall!

Game Room & Movie Room

The game room… doesn’t have any games yet! Just a bar counter and a TV. But the movie room’s got a 75-inch TV — not bad at all! It’s the coolest room in the house, literally, since it’s slightly sunken like a real theater.

There’s also a mini snack cabinet up here with chips and treats for guests. Alvin’s got board games like Jenga and checkers too!

The Secret Room – Nicole’s Beauty Room

Now, this is my favorite part! This room actually has a real lock — it opens with the main house key! It’s like a hidden bedroom. For now, it’s being used for storage, but once everyone settles in, this will become Nicole’s spa and beauty studio.

There’s even a little storage nook inside that’s deeper and warmer — perfect for cold days!

Wrap-Up – Six Bedrooms Total

Technically, this is a six-bedroom house: the studio, the master, Darius’s room, Walter’s room, the downstairs guest room, and this bonus room. The bonus room doesn’t officially count as a bedroom because it doesn’t have an emergency exit or a built-in closet, but it’s big enough for a king bed and a TV!

And y’all, Walter’s even got a hot sauce cabinet up here! My whole family loves hot sauce — we can’t eat snacks without it!

Final Thoughts

That’s the end of the tour, y’all! This is such a beautiful home, and I couldn’t be more proud of my son. He’s doing amazing things, and I know when he moves to Vegas, it’s only gonna get bigger and better!
