Step 1: Heat the Sauce

  • Pour the entire jar of Smackalicious Sauce into a small pot.

  • Heat it over medium-low heat until it starts to bubble.
(You can microwave it if you want, but heating it on the stove gives a richer, hotter flavor.)

Step 2: Prepare the Onion

  • Slice the onion into thin round rings (or half rings if you prefer).

  • The thinner the slices, the softer they’ll become when cooked.

Step 3: Sauté the Onion

  • Add 1–2 tablespoons of butter to a small pan.

  • Sauté the onions until they become soft and slightly golden or caramelized.
Important: You must sauté the onions with butter first — don’t put raw onions directly into the sauce or they won’t soften properly.
If you’re vegetarian, replace butter with vegetable broth.

Step 4: Combine

  • Add the sautéed onions to the hot Smackalicious Sauce.

  • Stir well to blend and let the flavors soak in.

Step 5: Enjoy!

  • Serve with boiled eggs, shrimp, or your favorite dish.

Tips:

  • If you don’t like too much butter, just use 1 tablespoon.

  • The softer and more caramelized the onions, the better the taste.

  • Make sure the onions are fully soft before adding them to the sauce.
